Cafe Cartel Dinner & Running Man

Glenn was especially nice to me today.

I told him that but he said that he is nice to me everyday just that I don't realise. He was very active on whatsapp since afternoon, probably because he didn't have much work to do. He asked me out for dinner which he usually doesn't. Most of the time, I am the one who suggested to meet for dinner or to go out together. So that kind of surprised me. He came to my office to pick me up then we headed to Northpoint's Cafe Cartel for dinner. He looked at the movie timing and asked if I want to catch a movie with him. That was rather rare. I told him that I would rather take my time to enjoy dinner together and catch movie another day. We should catch a movie if we decided to have a quick dinner. The 1 pizza & 1 pasta promotional set at Cafe Cartel is quite delicious and I love the root beer float too. The only dissatisfaction I had was the long and draggy serving time. Since we did not catch a movie, we had some time after dinner so I thought we could watch running man together at my house and we did. I enjoyed spending 二人世界 time with him. Thanks for everything tonight. :))

Performance Bonus

I know how much pro-rated performance bonus I will receive today. Though it isn't much and pro-rated but it is still better than nothing. Treat it as a bonus lo. Haha.

Back from 6B class gathering

Just came home from 6B class gathering. We chatted for like 2 hours. Caught up with everyone there - Angie, Yang Sheng, Shi Fang, Yu Wen, Wee Keong, Jing Fen, Shan Wei, Chek How, Tai Fang, Norazli and Kang Rui, on their recent doings and chatted a lot about the past which brought back a lot of happy and unhappy memories. Mostly are funny and childish. All I can say is that this 2 hours of catch up session is definitely worth my time and effort in making a trip down to Northpoint area despite the late meeting time. Hope to see y'all again and hopefully then
more will come. Till we meet again... :))

Let go the glass!!!

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they'd be asked the "half empty or half full" question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: "How heavy is this glass of water?"

Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.

She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." She continued, "The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything."

It’s important to remember to let go of your stresses. As early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don't carry them through the evening and into the night. Remember to put the glass down!

KSL with my family!!!

My family, together with my aunt, my cousins and Glenn, headed out to JB for a day hang out at City Square and KSL mall. We lunched at City Square Kim Gary and headed to KSL mall via cab. Since there were 9 of us, we spitted into 3 per cab. The cab fee ranges from RM7 to RM10. Note not to take the meter blue taxi but rather the red taxi which you can bargain the price up front. Don't take the taxi if the driver requested for a fare higher than RM10. The fare can be as low as RM6.

KBOX at KSL mall is cheap even on weekends. We booked a room for 8 with 6 bottles of beer and 1 jar of chrysanthemum tea and it costed only around S$8 per person. I bought Chef Tony popcorn as well before leaving KSL mall. Later I heard from Jo that the price I bought for is about the same as that in Philippines and much cheaper than those sold in Singapore. It was RM11 for the smaller sized popcorn and RM15 for the bigger sized popcorn. It is really yummy! I realised that watching movie there is very cheap too. It costs only like RM14 for a weekend movie. I did not catch a movie this time round because of insufficient time. I'll watch a movie there someday.

We were lucky that bus S1 was picking up passengers when we decided to leave KSL mall back to City Square. We quickly hopped onto the bus and it costs RM1.50 for each person. The bus journey is about 10 mins. We had dinner at Kenny Rogers and headed home when the shops began to close. Finally home sweet home. Quite a tiring day. But nonetheless, I had fun!
