Bak Chor Mee Lunch with Jo :))

I met Jo for lunch today at a coffee shop near my workplace because she was going to Tanjong Pagar for some leg hair removal appointment so she took one more stop to come and meet me! So sweet of her!! :)) We had bak chor mee. This stall noodles is quite nice actually.

This girl is finally going to start working next Monday, which is on my birthday itself, at Orchard. So coincidental! Seems like I can meet her on Fridays to go home together. Heehee. We agreed to meet on this Saturday to exercise again. I am only exercising on every Saturday now which I think is not sufficient but I don’t know which other day I can make time to exercise. Sigh~ I want to lose weight!!!

A fulfilling Sat with Bro and the Girls

This morning I had Mac breakfast with my brother!!! I think I haven't met him since a long time ago though both of us cannot remember if it is 6 months ago or 18 months ago since we last met up at one of the Khatib Central coffee shops for supper. He is currently studying in Perth for a degree in Economics and now back in Singapore during his holidays. It is sweet of him to buy me jelly beans from Australia. LOVE IT!! <3 He will be going to China for exchange on 1st Sept for a year but will be back in Singapore again during CNY. It feels really good to catch up with him today. The topics we talked about on marriage and housing make me feel that we have grown up (not to use the word “older” XP). Everything seems to be going on well on his side which is a good thing. :)) I felt really happy meeting up like this. It is really hard to get him because he always seems to be so busy. But nonetheless it was him who initiated to meet for a meal though I am the one who asked him on FB first whether he is back in Singapore already. HAPPY HAPPY!!! The next time when I will probably meet him should be during CNY when he comes back during his China exchange. Looking forward to then! :D:D

  

I met Jo and YW in the evening to exercise at Khatib Stadium. We ran 6 rounds of slow jogging, did 100 sit-ups, 50 dips and end off with 2 rounds of half-sprinting-half-walking. It was really tiring. We had dinner at one of the Khatib Central coffee shops. I had Rojak and the two girls shared 2 chicken wings and a plate of satay with ketupat. Oh! And we had fruit juice too! :)) It was very filling. Then they head to my house and we played one round of Bohnanza with my sister. It was quite fun! :D:D:D

While walking to my dinner place from the stadium, Glenn whatsapped me photos of sunrise taken on a hill in Norway. Sun rise is really beautiful!!

Last episode of Secret Garden

I finished my last episode of Secret Garden. IT IS NICE!!! Considered a sweet ending and it really touches my heart. I feel so happy for Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won) being together in the end with 3 children. So sweet!!! The only regret is not getting the approval of Kim Joo Won’s mom and so they didn’t get to hold a wedding. But thankfully, his mom loves their children and the couple lives happily ever after... <3



Now I am getting the usual hangover again as I always do after every korean drama I watched. I feel so lost. Glenn suggested to get more shows from Cody and my sister suggested to watch other korean drama to get rid of this hangover then continue with this process forever. Haha. Well.. I think I should get back to watch Running Man to cheer myself up. Yoo Jaesuk!!! :D:D:D

Secret Garden

Recently I am so addicted to watching Secret Garden. I wanted to watch this show since 1 year plus ago but keep on didn't have the time to. Finally, I'm watching it now! I really love Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won a lot. Such a sweet and loving couple though it is just a show. I spent almost my entire long weekends on watching Secret Garden. Now, I’m only left with 2 episodes to the ending. I wonder what I should do after the show ends. I think I will feel lost again like I always do and need several days to get over it. Haha.
 
 

I went jogging with Jo on Saturday evening at Yishun Stadium and dinner together at one of the hawker centres in Khatib central. Not bad, I exercise in the gym on the Thursday that just passed and jog on Saturday. I should continue to keep up on exercising until I reach 48kg but I have no motivation at all and my weight just refused to reduce. Zzz~

Glenn finally got his phone in Norway!

YAY!! Glenn finally received his sim card and now we can whatsapp again using his new HTC One X that he purchased there. So happy and excited! I don’t have to log in to FB from time to time again to check if he is online. We can finally chat freely whenever we want. Haha. :D:D:D

Farewell Dinner for Lincoln

Today, I found that it is possible for me to do a overseas postage to Glenn so I can post him food like maggie noodles and japanese curry. Glenn also ask me post his ipod shuffle with cable if possible. I’m also thinking of making a card, which carries all the wishes from Singapore, for him. Then I can simply drop the card into the box to post to him and surprise him.

I made a rough outline of the card and brought it along to the class gathering which is meant to be a 10-06 farewell dinner for lincoln son so that the class can write their wishes for Glenn (since most of them are already there)! He is flying off to Scotland in a week time on 20th August at 8pm for exchange programme. Agnes, Yvonne, Yuanwen, Jo, Allena, Fred, Yihan, Charles, Kangrui, and of course, Lincoln, turned up. We had ajisen dinner at J8 followed by ice cream at Mac. We got a really long chat to catch up on each others’ lives with plenty of jokes and laughters (as expected with Lincoln around). It feels good to hang around with the class. I love JC days... <3

National Day

We had a national day celebration on 8 August and I participated in the choir performance for the celebration so we had been rehearsing a couple of times since last week. We are singing One People, One Nation, One Singapore followed by We are Singapore. I had to recite the national pledge in the song We are Singapore and I was so nervous that day seeing so many people in the audience seats. But luckily everything turned out well and it seemed like we have received accolades from several staff. :)) The catered lunch was delicious. I ate Laksa, Rojak and Ice Kachang.

Jean will be joining my branch on Monday. I hope we can be really good friends to lunch and gym together. All the best to me!!! :))

Yesterday was National day. Wei Chang, Nic, Bernard, Nathaniel, Renny, Christianne and me met up for dinner (supposingly a farewell dinner for Wei Chang who is going to Manchester to study Masters under MOHH scholarship but his flight is actually on 15 Sept so yesterday’s dinner is just a meet up for everyone and we are meeting again on 6 Sept for his farewell dinner). We had dinner at Coco Ichibanya @ 313 and dessert at Cold Stone Creamery @ Orchard Central. I had my Mud Pie Mojo again. Haha. LOVE IT!! We had several hours of chat and it might be possible that we will study part-time Masters in NUS together next year August. I have to see if my motivation to study is still present then. Right now, I am planning to go for Masters but I’m uncertain if the kick will still be there 1 year later. Haha!!

TGIF!!! It’s Friday again!!! I love Friday!!! :D:D:D Weekend is here again. Oh yes! I have program on Sunday!!! YAY!!! I hope I am not lonely without Glenn on weekends. Luckily I’m not this weekend. I have to constantly find program for myself on weekends. Going to J8 Ajisen for a farewell dinner for Lincoln son who is flying to Scotland on 20 August. I hope he doesn’t come back with red checkered skirt and bagpipes though it is highly likely. LOL!! HAHA!!!

10-06 babes hang out @ Allena's house

I had enjoyable weekends!! :))

Since Glenn is not around, I think I should make myself more busy so hopefully time passes faster. Not by working longer hours but by spending more time with my family, relatives and friends.

After work on last Friday, I head straight down to my aunt’s house and stayed over with my mom until Saturday afternoon. I spent the whole time playing with my little nephew. He made me play Beyblade with him. He will fix everything for me and all I have to do is to pull. He is really cute and loveable. He actually put a few snacks into my bag and I’m surprised seeing them after I left my aunt’s house. We went to Junction 10 to eat at Paradise Inn (like again after I had dinner with Glenn and his family at Terminal 1 Paradise Inn the day Glenn flew off), but well, luckily the dishes are different.

Bad news, I received a call from Glenn’s dad on Saturday morning informing me that Glenn got his mobile phone pickpocketed and called him from police station at 3 am (Singapore time) to cancel his line. No wonder I received a call from Glenn’s mobile at 2.09am. The person probably has gotten the phone at that time. Poor Glenn. His mood must have been ruin on the first day he was there. I hope he will get over it soon and enjoy his trip there.

Sunday, I went over to Allena’s house in the late morning after breakfast with my family and we chatted a while before heading to her nearby park to jog. We only jogged for like 15 mins and Allena cannot run anymore. Probably because of the warm weather since we were jogging at noon. After bathing, Von was already at Allena’s house. 3 of us had lunch together. I love the dumplings. It is nice!!! Over the meal, Von told us that she is attached for 2 months already (happy for her!! :D:D:D Lucky for Zi Chao) but she has been keeping it low profile as she was only trying out initially. Jo and Fred came over in the afternoon too. We played Shadow Hunter, Bang!, Asshole Daitee and Bridge (after Fred left). We also have a bit of girls chat before ending the day.

That night after I reached home I skyped Glenn for about 45 mins since I won’t be talking to him until he reaches his student village and has WiFi. Slept pretty late on Sunday night so I am quite tired yesterday.

Glenn will reach Trondheim at 7am (Norway time) and probably settled down in his student village at 1pm (Norway time) so hopefully I can skype him tonight at 7pm (Singapore time) after I reach home for work. Looking forward to it.... :D:D:D

I was on Family 10-06!!! wall in FB a moment ago and I discovered the link to our class long lost blog (http://ten-o-six.blogspot.com/). I was scrolling through the blog then noticed that there is a link to Lindy, indicating my blog. I was thinking, “WHAT?!?! I HAVE A BLOG?!?! Like since when?” then I curiously clicked on the link and to my surprise, I did blog when I was in AJC (omg!) and the last entry was on May 28, 2008. LOL!! This is a long (x5) lost blog. I was reading through some entries and realized that there are so many sweet things that once happened in my life that I forgot totally without reading these entries but images start appearing when reading.

Life is so amazing.  :))

But because of our busy lifestyle and living in a world that needs us to remember so many things. More often than not, we forget a lot of things that are sweet and make us smile. Jotting down bits and pieces that happen in everyday life will allow one to remember those beautiful things and people in life. And I want to remember all these things. One day when I am wrinkled and aged, I hope there is something for me to look back and smile at. And I believe that this blog is capable of doing so.

Today is the first day without Glenn. He flew off to Norway last night at 11.35pm for exchange program for 5 months. Backed only on 2 January, 2013. So many of his university friends came to send him off at the airport. He must be really well-liked in school, like he has always been. I feel so happy for him. It is always good to enjoy school life (but without exams). Now my life revolves about working from Monday to Friday and resting on weekends. I have started working in MOH since 16 July, 2012 for 3 weeks already. Working life is boring, stressful and tiring.

5 months without Glenn, I don’t know how my life will be like. Good, hopefully.

Today Alison called me, telling me that i got A PAY RISE!! Heeheee.. :D :D Happy Happy.

I had my first Latin Cha Cha dance lesson on the just-passed-Saturday. I enjoyed it though. I'm REALLY clumsy initially, but after getting the hang of it, I can do much better. I’m smart after all. =P

This coming Saturday, our class is going to attend Mr. Lim's wedding at Baptist Church. I can foresee that it will be pretty fun! Meeting up with the class again is definitely a joyful thing.

Also, I have already fixed my mind of the choice of my university- getting into NUS. Although I know that it will definitely be tough because in a "mathematics" faculty, there're many china people and they are really STRONG in mathematics, I'M PREPARED TO FIGHT MY WAY THROUGH!! I’ll try my best...

Last thing in this entry, I’m going to change my hand phone number soon. I'll message all when I received my new number.

Hoohooohoooo..

After such a long period of hibernation, my blog is finally alive again- there's a new entry!

I'm so happy today. I went over to achieve career (sister company of mine- JCG Search) today to pass the team leads the remaining HR Summit forms, so afraid to meet Wil and Sophia because previously they were quite unhappy over certain issue. I'm not too sure whether they were angry with me because I’m the one handling the task which they were unhappy with, BUT I’m just following the instruction given by my direct boss, so they might overlook my fault? I’m not too sure though. Owells.. Back to main the topic. When I’m walking towards Wil's desk, I’m praying so hard that she's away from her desk. Humbling "please, not at her desk. Please, not at her desk." and walking there at the same time and PHEW~~ luckily, she's away! After which I headed towards Sophia's desk, same thing I did, praying, humbling and walking, but when I reached there, OH GOD! She’s there! But no choice, I had to pass her the forms still so up in my mind, I’m telling myself to pass her quickly and just run away even before she can say anything or scold me. To my surprised, she pointed to her desk's glass penal and asked whether it was me who wrote the team name on the post it the previous time I passed her the forms. Then I replied, "yes, why?" and she said that MY HANDWRITING IS NICE!! wahahaha.. :D :D :D Not knowing how to respond, I just thank her all the way. Furthermore, she requested for me to write her more of her team name so that she can stick it on all her files. Haha.. But nevertheless, I’m not too sure how sincere she is. I’m not trying to show off when I said that but I always believe that corporate world is always full of politics and who knows if I really write her team name then, will she be saying "what a joke, do you think your writing is really that nice that I’ll want more from you?!"

Owells.. Not too sure though but for now, I chose not to write and just stay as far as I can from Sophia while remaining happy. I still remember previously Shawn told me that my handwriting is nice as well. Heeeeheeeee.. A Happy Day for me. Cheers! :D

but now, have to worry for results. sigh~ i feel that i've did badly for most of the papers. there's no paper that i think had reached my expectation and i'd confident in.

A level is such a torture. the previous five papers that i've completed not say very well done as well. sigh~ dunno whether still can ace them not. hopefully can. i really wish to get scholarship for university so that my school fee and career can be slightly secured. but it's really hard to achieve it! i don't have the motivation to study at all! furthermore, i'm uncertain about my ability to pass my general paper. i'd never pass gp for any major paper before in junior college. it's really bad! owells, whatever. la lala la..)):

yet i'm feeling so down. cried twice today. i believe that i'll cry the third time today when i update my blog.



it's really fast! 2 years just passed. i remembered last year when i entered this class, first time when i get to glance at all my classmates during pw lecture at AUD, my first thought is "there's no shuai guys in our class! sian.."



through the 2 years, or to be exact, one year++, many things have happened. even though it's rather similar every day, but every little thing in every day school's life contributes and makes up my jc memory-- fond memories.



actually i've expected myself to be really sad on this day when we're going to part. i've predicted it (don't believe? look at my previous entry when it's the last day of nationals and all my team mates are going different ways, in some ways or another, and busy with their studies), but i didnt expect myself to be even more devastated. sigh.. too much of these "little things" that made me unable to let go, made me unwilling to say "goodbye", made me cry.. like wad lincoln said outside pizza hut in the afternoon, i've started missing you guys even when we were still together after meal.

i miss..

1) jocelyn. lincoln's joho-girl and MX'S BELOVED. haha. don't understand why jo's face will turn so red, though there's nth between mx and her, or issit that there're things that i don't know.. heehee..

2)yvonne's red face when she see you-know-who and always telling me that she doesn't care about him yet contradict herself immediately after saying that. silly girl, go for what you like! and i wanna go to your house again to eat all the food on your shelves and fridge.

3)yuanwen's quietness. quiet but hardworking. anything you didnt manage to copy in class or during lectures, just find yw. she's the source to my school work. tsk..

4) agnes' smile (perhaps because she has straight teeth). looks small and kind but don't be deceived by her appearance, she's very evil especially when she smack you. WAH! painful! p.s. never be on her right. she's the pure evil one.

5) allena and weiming. i think i don't have to elaborate much on this. heehee.. (allena, don't blush)

6) looking up at yonghui. i still remember the incident at the container block when yonghui's so kind in volunteering his help to collect ben's papers by rising his hand. hoho~~ and thanks for lending me your shoulder at palau ubin during OBS. (oops! better not let kaiting see this. if not she'll be coming after me with a knife)

7) my dad, of course, that goes without saying. daddy's always there for me whenever i'm feeling down and tolerate my whining, yet i always made him sad. sorry dad. i know i'm willful and often made you upset, but it's not totally my fault. it's partly because you pampered me too much! whining

8) kent's f*** up! franking speakly, i scare to collect money from him because whenever i just mention "collect money" to him, his immediate reply will be "f***". lol. come to think about it, it's really funny. so sad. no one will scold me vulgarities in the future again.)):

9) ming xuan. aiyo.. ma ming, must be faithful towards jocelyn. cannot go find other girls when she's not around. naughty ah you. haha. and thanks for letting me win in the touch rugby game on thurs.

10) yihan's singing.... not. lols. haha. maybe you'll be the future singapore idol (who knows) but you must really work hard. i mean seriously, not sarcastically. there's hope for everything. jiayou! but i think those people living around cck, especially gary, will suffer more before you become a singer. hippo!

11) MY SON! mixture of fats and shit! haha. i'll definitely miss you lah, my beloved son. i still want joke session everyday. my jc life is brightened up especially by your lame jokes and nonsensical stuff. and you better be faithful towads my daughter-in-law before i chop you into pieces.

12) glenn. aiyo~ don't keep disturbing glenn and me lah! i'll shy! lols. but nevertheless, i still have to thank glenn for being there to listen to my troubles, really. it's surprising some times that you know that i'm upset and came to comfort me. so touched! lols. but cannot be too cocky, have to study hard to get good results or maybe you can stapler $50 to your scripts. hoho~ must sponsor me as well!

13) samuel. you must study SMART not study hard, alrighty? you're a great friend! but don't stress yourself too much. sometimes you have to relax a little before your brain can absorb more. all the best for your A level!

14) charles. continue to strive in hockey and chiong for studies. your last minute work really very effective, should award you with the greatest improvement medal.

15) ben. even though we didn't chat much but it's good to have you as a classmate. you'll always lend me your handphone to play whenever i got nothing-better-to-do and treat us FOOD! lols.

16) piyuish's way of claiming money from me so that he doesn't have to pay so much for the class funds. haha. don't know how he manage to get so many receipts to claim. anyway, go for your scholarship, yea? don't give up!

17) raktim's explanation. really have to thank you for explaining to me every concept that i do not understand and you know what? your explanation is really clear and comprehensible.

18) rong qing's sarcastic remarks. lols. it's irritating but i find it funny. haha. you can be lincoln no.2. haha. and you're our class sleeping king! congrats congrats. come to think about it, hardly see you sleep again recently. i guess it's the power of love.

19) LAO DA!! we shall stop competiting who's taller again alright? i'll sacrify a little and conclude that we're equally tall, i.e. tie. yay! haha. lao da, must study hard for your A level! jiayou.

20) yen liang chi's irritaing and disturbing actions. don't deny that you didn't. recall.. who's the idiot who snatch the sleeping space with me at glenn's house during pw? lols. irritating but enjoyable. we must win lincoln and allena in bridge again if we have a chalet again this year, just like last year.

21) yojit as well! during gp, he's always the one having answers to those chim chim questions. if i have half the knowledge of what yojit has, i'll pass my gp for sure.



really miss all of you! we'll have some gathering again but before that let's study hard together for A level! we're forever ten-o-six-- "play together, mug together, the classmates for LIFE!"((:

hoho~~ prelims finally over!

it has ended a few days ago and so i'd been shopping and catching movies for the past consecutive days. lols. some friends around me seemed to have started mugging for A levels. actually there's about 6 more weeks to A levels so i'm still slacking and thinking of taking a break before taking up the momentum to let through the last lap. owells, seeing others studying indeed made me stress to some extent. but being stress doesnt push me to study. heehee..

yay! i'm finally going back to SHG tml. feel so happy :D thinking of all those kids and the games we're going to play. i cant wait for tml's afternoon to come. anw, i heard about jason's prelims result. i'm far from what he's supposed to achieve. i shocked as well. this is also part of the reason why i'm going back tml- to see how he's doing, cannot let this continue if not he wont be able to score for his PSLE.

i recently just watched , <881> and . all these shows quite not bad. suddenly chiong three movies after my last movie which is like 9 months sago. zzz... two days ago, i went to eat steamboat with my mum for lunch. the food is really great, together with the excellence service and ambience, it's worth going there to dine again. i love the dessert the most! the green tea pudding is WHOA! it's 100% jasmine green tea, a little bitter and sweet. i love it!

i have not exercise for about 1 month plus already. getting fat. wanna find someone to go work out with me.

i happen to read this entry from cheryl's blog when i'm hopping from blog to blog and i almost cried again.

it's so hard to part. it's really difficult to just let go. sigh.. feel like returning to the past, when cheryl and i, and others as well, trained together, eat together, bullied the counter staff together, joked, crapped and looked at eyecandies together. but it's totally impossible, time doesn't reverse. everything's gone! vanished within seconds.

owells, i guess i've sank too deep into this bond we've created and it's so hard to recover from it now. )):

i still remember this training took place a few days before mid-years. while everyone was staying at home mugging, we're actually dry firing in the meeting room, preparing for nationals. and i made cheryl to do sai kang for me again such as taking out my rifle for me help me take these photos. lols! she's complaining away lah! but ended up doing all these. she just love me too much to not help me. haha.

i long bang her dad's car home today. LOL! lucky i'm fast enough to hop onto the car. haha..
